A barrel forgotten to time, buried in a stack of other barrels, only to be discovered on a whim. The first sampling made its case immediately: explosive, sweet, spicy, and waiting to be released. It was expected to be a short barrel, perhaps sixty bottles. Instead, it ultimately provided more than 130 bottles across cask-strength and proofed expressions. Its uniqueness set it apart from a typical finished bourbon. The first cask-strength pull became Grape Awakening at 132.2 proof.
Bold. Unafraid. Awakening.
