Buried in a stack of other barrels and discovered almost on a whim, the first sample gave an immediate impression: explosive, sweet, spicy, and waiting to be released. Its grape-brandy finish separated it from a typical finished bourbon, and its unexpectedly generous yield gave the Keeper room to preserve the barrel in more than one form.
